The Inyo County Office
of Education is proud to serve as the Region 10 Lead Office for After
School Programs. Funded by the California Department of Education -
After School Partnerships Office, the Inyo County of Education serves
as one of the eleven service regions of the California County
Superintendents' Educational Services Association (CCSESA). The purpose
of this award is to provide training and technical assistance to state
and federally funded after school programs within Region 10, which
serves Riverside, Inyo, Mono and San Bernardino counties. It is the
intent of the Regional Lead Office to develop and provide resources
that support safe and educationally enriching environments for children
and youth who attend before and after school programs throughout
California.
In each region, technical assistance is provided by
a Regional Lead and a California Department of Education (CDE) staff
member who work in collaboration to implement training opportunities
and activities uniquely designed to fit the needs of local before and
after school program grantees. A local Regional Demonstration Site also
works with the Regional Lead to help increase site level support for
program coordinators, staff, and community partners.
